Katie Burk is a visual artist originally from Indianapolis, IN. She received her BFA in Painting from Ball State University. Her preferred mediums include acrylic, mixed water media, and encaustic.
I am interested in exploring the element of time and how it affects every physical object, living and non-living. I have always been enamored with the natural world and often use organic forms like fossils, plants, and shells as a visual vocabulary for my work.
